Jumoké Fashola – Big Age

Jumoké plays Funmi Layode in Channel 4’s comedy pilot Big Age, which aired last year, as part of Channel 4’s Black to Front day on the 10th of September.

Written by Bolu Babalola, follows a group of four young Black-British friends who are in the ‘big age’ era of their lives. 

It focuses on 25-year old wanna be writer Sadé (Ronke Adékoluejo), her best friend Dela (Rachael Ofori), Zeke (Michael Workeye) and Tayo (CJ Beckford) as they navigate through their lives between parental expectations, personal dreams, and with the Nigerian phrase of ‘at your big age!’ acting as the soundtrack.
